Water Slide!

I decided to buy my kids a blow up water slide to get us through the summer. We are loving it!
It gets so blazin' hot in GA. I can barely stand to go check the mail some days! So it has been the best to have our own water park in our back yard!
The best part about it is that the kids can get all their energy out while mom lays in the wade pool and gets some rays and some rest!
I don't have to fuss with getting the kids all packed up to go to the pool, working around nap schedules, lunch ect...
It is worth the money! My girls love it!

Leah

Leah Mackenzie Marler. My big girl is turning 4 years old in just a few weeks! It really does seem unreal. I look at her every day in amazement that she is mine. She is so beautiful and so sweet (yes I said "sweet")
I guess the easiest way to describe Leah is "sweet and sour" the alternative, Doctor Jeckel/ Mr Hyde may be a bit harsh!
Leah is a spunky kid with a ton of personality. She loves making friends and entertaining a crowd. She is also very strong willed. It has been getting much better, but for a while there, it was her way or NO way.
I am happy to report that after two years of not giving in, she has finally learned who is in Charge! Yeah Mom and Dad!!!

Leah is very smart and quite coordinated. I am pretty sure she will be a very well rounded girl. with sports dance and school. She seems to love all three and excel in them as well.

She is very goofy. She thinks Anything to do with burps and poop is worthy of a comedy act.

She loves being a princess. Whenever I do her hair she instructs me on what princess she wants her hair to look like. She hates pony tails because she thinks it looks like boy hair.
needless to say, she is very girlie.

My baby

This is my sweet Reese. Her full name is Reese Virginia Marler. She is named after my amazing grandma who passed away 4 years ago.
She is such a joy! Where do I start?... She is so stinkin funny! She loves

to make us laugh. She has this deep grunty (slightly mischievous) laugh that just gets you going! She loves to tickle your feet and say "ticka ticka" her favorite game is to cover herself with her blanket and jump out to surprise you. She always wants her big sister to push her around in a dolly stroller. The two of them go for a wild ride full of heart warming giggles.

Since the day she was born it seemed that she never has time to sit still. She is always looking for something to do. She will always give you a quick hug and then want down. She will only take a few bites of food before she is too bored and wants to play. She crawled at five months and was running the same day she learned to walk. She loves everyone and expects everyone to pick her up and give and get some love before she moves on to her next adventure.
Now if she would just get a few more teeth... She is 15 months old and only has two bottom teeth. She doesn't let that slow her down. Of course, she doesn't want to eat baby food. She will only eat what I am eating and usually only off my plate.

First time blogger

Okay, okay... I will start a blog! I love reading blogs, but I have been hesitant to start my own for a few reasons.
The first was because I keep a pretty good journal and have done so for 15 years. I like the privacy of sharing your thoughts and feelings to yourself. It has always given me a release, a way to empty my head. I can't say anything I write will be worth anything to my posterity. I guess it has always been for me.
My second hang up was that I feel kind of intimidated to be put on the spot to be entertaining enough for people to want to read what I am writing about.

So, to all of you who take the time to read about me and my family... I hope you enjoy.
