Bad, bad Blogger!

My sister called me the other day and got mad that I haven't been posting any updates.... So Stacy, this post is for you! And get ready for it. A lot has happened the last month or so!

We Blessed Remi a couple of Sundays ago. She looked so precious in the Heirloom blessing dress. It melted my heart to see her darling face when kevin held her up after the blessing.

It has been SO RAINY lately. The girls (my self included) have been feeling so stuck in the house so we decided to make the most of a rainy weekend and SPLASH!!!!
It was cold, so the girls got in a warm bath and had Hot cocoa afterward.

This year we had a very eventful Easter Weekend...

It began Saturday morning at the Church Easter Brunch. Of course I dressed the girls all the same. They looked so cute... Why is it so hard to get a decent picture of the three of them together!?

That night, I decorated eggs with the girls. Kevin was out of town.. it was just me, holding a crying baby in the sling, two excited kids, a few dozen eggs and a bunch of dye. Sounds like a recipe for disaster! Surprisingly, it all went pretty well and we had a good time. Reese Only managed to throw one egg across the room and dump the red dye on my Kitchen rug (I needed a new one anyway :)

Look what we did! We tie dyed and did glitter! Yeah for me, Go MOM!

Easter morning we went to Kevin's mom's "MaMa" for an Easter Brunch. We don't have church until 2:00 so we had plenty of time to enjoy the morning together.
The food was yummy, and the kids had a good time searching for eggs again.
This was the third Hunt for Reesie, she is a Pro now!

I made the girls their little Red Night gowns. I thought they were too cute just to wear to bed, so they wore them to the brunch.

The whole Marler group together.

I love this picture! The girls love their Mama!

Now we are all ready for Church. Dressed in our Easter Best. Remi wore the sweet little dress my mom made for Reese for Mackenzie's wedding.

Reesie Roo turned TWO!!
She had a fun day at the park. I made sac lunches for everyone. It was pretty cold and windy, but the kids were glad to have a break from all the rain!

These are just a couple of sweet little pictures of Remi. I think she was about 3-4 weeks old.

Thank you, Mom!!!

My mom makes each new grandchild a quilt. This is the one she sent for Remi Lynne. I love it! I love it so much that I have decided to decorate the baby room around it. My mom puts so much love and effort into her projects and I appreciate it so much. I have so many cherished dresses and quilts that will be in my family forever.

This is just one of the "cherished dresses" That she made. Both Leah and Reese wore it when they were blessed. My mom hand embroidered the flowers out of silk ribbon.

It is so hard to live so far away from my family. But I feel very grateful that my mom still makes an effort to know and love my girls. And even though she has so many grand kids, she makes each one of them feel special. I love you mom... Thanks for all you do!

BATH TIME!

There is nothing cuter than a chubby baby in the bath!!

I love that I can already give her a sudsy mow hawk... i guess it helps that she has one naturally!

She had the biggest smile on her face, I got the camera ready just as it was fading.

So BEAUTIFUL!

Baby days are here again!

Day four... Reese still loves baby sister. I came in the living room this morning to find Reese holding Remi's Hand while she watched Curious George.

Remi Lynne on day four of her life. She is now keeping her eyes open for at least 10-20 minutes at a time. Look at those beautiful eyes!!

Remi on Day 3 of her life. The shirt says it all. She IS a Sweet Girl!

Leah is taking her role as big sister VERY seriously. She knows that it is her job to show her sisters how to be nice to each other, how to share and to make the Right choices.

Good thing pictures last a lifetime, because I never want to forget these first few precious days!

I was so pleasantly surprised to see my Reese love on her baby sister. Instead of the image of her trying to throw her off my lap that I had in my head. She has been more than loving to Remi. She always makes sure that She has enough blankets (she will keep bringing in blankets until I have 5 or 6). The only jealousy I have seen so far is that when Remi has a binki in her mouth, Reese wants one too (Reese never took a binki).

Family of FIVE!!! and life couldn't be more perfect.

Only a few minutes old and you can see whats on her mind....
